American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat) Dog

OGIE the Dog needs a home

A volunteer writes: Need an excuse to get up in the morning and do your exercises? Meet Ogie, and excuses be gone! Lively and fun, he greets each day with a big smile, ready to play and expend some energy. Joining us when his owner became ill, we''re told Ogie loves people and will actively approach and greet them. There are no strangers in Ogie''s world, everyone is a friend. Intake notes state that he approached everyone, greeting all with kisses. Awwwww. Ogie showed off his housetraining skills, does pull on the leash so a harness and some leash training will go a long way, and being off leash to run in the backyard was perfect for him. We''re told that he loves playing with balls, chewing on bones, is used to being loose in the house when alone, plays a little rough with other dogs, and loves baths. In the backyard, Ogie loved going into the pool to retrieve a ball, played with the water a bit and had a great time. Smart dog to play in the pool in the brutal heat. He''s an awesome dog, his smile will light up the room, and his fun and friendly personality will ensure that there are no strangers in your life. No doubt that if we were still in school, Ogie would be voted Mr. Personality, as he oozes charm and good will. Come meet him today.
